We are going to fight a war. Members who are interested in pursuing a Military career shall be given an Assignment to an active and historical Unit in the Army of their choice. Turns shall be conducted and combat resolved. This hasn't been done before and we want to be the first to combine both role Playing and strategic combat.
I invite all to join us. Create a character and apply. If you have questions feel free to contact me. I look forward to forging ahead with all of you.

Two Members have joined the struggle. I introduce you to Colonel Henry Barker, Soon to be Commander of the 9th Virginia Cavalry. He is an experienced writer and been siming for ten years. It's great to have him here with us!
Every Sim needs a man like Rich Sampson... the smoothest talking Hotel magnate your ever going to see! He is drama romance and deceit all rolled into one. Rick writes from overseas while on assignment for a US news network. I have known him several years and value his friendship. I proud to have him with us starting out.

Commanding Officer, 1st Infantry, USA
By order of the War Department, the First Regiment United States Infantry shall assemble all Officers and Men and proceed with all haste to Fort Simmons, Saint Louis in the Department of Missouri. Arraignments for your follow on destination shall be sent to you at that location. In addition you shall join with Captain Issac Gold of the 3rd Dragoons. His current location unknown to this office. Captain Gold has received orders to meet you and left Indian territory several days ago.

Yes we are in transition! An add free site serves the members here far better in the future. Things are moving ahead quickly as the new site of HD grows. If you are a guest and wish to join check out the characters menu, there are many positions available to apply for. But if you are requesting one not listed just get a hold of me so I can get your bio in the position you desire.
All are welcome here, Role players and hard core tactical gamers. That's what makes our sim different. For members who wish active military commands and get tactical just complete the bio application and contact me. The Tactical portion of the sim and the role playing side shall be completely interactive. As your character performs his duties on the battlefield you may also write about those victories and defeats on the role playing side.. Completely interactive.
As the sim is new, so shall be it's path. The Southern States are still in the Union. I shall leave it up to the members/Leaders of those States to drive that issue forward by there own means and initiatives..
My role is that of a GM, not a Military commander. I shall write for some selected NPC's to keep things organized and flowing in the sim, provide interesting news issues and resolve combat impartially. This site/sim belongs to it's members who actually create it and give it's characters life.
